Product Description
The Dental Degranulation Burs Kit is used for GBR and post-extraction socket treatment to remove granulation tissue and fibrous tissue attached to the bone surface.
When there is a bone defect of more than 1 mm around the implant, bone augmentation may be required to achieve a better implant result. However, after flap elevation, the implant site needs to be treated properly. The removal of granulation tissue and other soft tissue is especially important, particularly inflammatory granulation tissue. If it is not removed thoroughly, it may increase the risk of infection and also affect the bone grafting result.
During implant placement, residual granulation tissue may also be carried into the prepared osteotomy as the implant is inserted, affecting osseointegration and ultimately reducing the implant survival rate.
Ordinary surgical curettes may not completely remove granulation tissue or fibrous tissue in some clinical situations. A dedicated degranulation bur kit is designed to achieve efficient and thorough removal. We are now launching this Smart Dental Degranulation Burs Kit, which is designed to solve the problem of granulation tissue removal.
Features
- The bur is less likely to become entangled with tissue, making cleaning and maintenance more convenient.
- With low vibration, it helps reduce unnecessary damage to the bone surface and helps reduce surgical risk. It can effectively remove large pieces of granulation tissue and detach small granulation tissue, making curette operation easier.
- The uniquely designed diamond burs offer good wear resistance and are less likely to shed abrasive particles.
- Material Description: Diamond grit has very high hardness and high-temperature resistance. It can resist oxidation at high temperatures and can be used many times.
- The kit offers complete specifications to adapt to more clinical situations. It includes three uniquely designed diamond burs for granulation tissue removal, with sizes of 1.4 mm, 2.3 mm, and 3.1 mm.
- Efficient and safe: using a dedicated degranulation bur can more easily remove inflammatory tissue and excess granulation tissue while helping avoid damage to healthy bone tissue, establishing a good foundation for subsequent bone grafting surgery.
Instructions for Use
- After elevating the mucoperiosteal flap, carefully check the condition of the alveolar ridge in the surgical area to determine whether inflammatory or excess granulation tissue and fibrous tissue are present.
- First, use a surgical curette to explore the range of the granulation tissue and scrape away the superficial excess or inflammatory tissue.
- Use a dedicated suction tube to remove blood from the extraction socket, and visually observe whether there is any residual granulation tissue or fibrous tissue on the inner wall of the socket.
- Then select a degranulation bur with an appropriate diameter, and use it with saline cooling and irrigation at a speed of 800–1200 rpm to remove granulation tissue and fibrous tissue.
- Repeat the above steps until the fibrous tissue is completely removed.
Precautions
When connected to an implant handpiece and used with saline, the recommended speed is 800–1200 rpm, which should be adjusted according to bone quality.
